Gill and Rohit, the dynamic opening pair, combined forces to add an impressive 121 runs for the opening wicket against Pakistan. The young sensation contributed significantly with his blazing 58-run knock, which ultimately catapulted him up the ICC rankings. Shubman Gill now holds the prestigious title of being the new No.2 batter in the One Day International (ODI) rankings, an incredible achievement for the rising star.
In the top 10 of the ICC Men’s ODI rankings, three Indian batters have made their mark. Gill, Kohli, and Rohit are the trio representing India in this elite group.
