Bhubaneswar: Another road accident involving an ‘Ama Bus’ was reported in the city on Thursday after the bus collided with a motorcycle on a main road. Following the accident, angry locals vandalised the Ama Bus, creating a tense situation in the area. The incident occurred between Master Canteen Square and Rajmahal Square, where unrest prevailed for some time. Reports suggest that more than one Ama Bus was damaged by the agitated crowd. In panic, the driver and conductor abandoned the bus and fled the spot to save their lives. Police later intervened and used mild force to disperse the crowd and bring the situation under control.
